Message Here's the deal. I bough my '91 TTZ in FL and brought it to CT last May. It stayed in my garage and was playing with the idea of selling it to pay off some debt, however I just got my real estate license (please no comments about how the market is slow or getting into real estate is bad right now, I know and it is only a secondary source of income). Anyway, I want to drive up to a client's home in something a little more professional looking than my lifted cherokee with loud exhaust so I think I will keep the Z and get it running decent. The turbos are seized and a resulting light smoke is apparent from the rear left of the engine bay (just to the right of the battery) which I believe is because of this. Key is I really don't want to spend tons of $$, but would like it to still be turbo'd. I had plans for GT525 turbos with more boost and tons of upgrades, but I need to start investing my money in appreciated assets, and thus want to get the Z back to a stock state. Now that I've said way more than necessary, where can I get some stock replacement turbo's for the Z or are aftermarker relatively similar in price? Are rebuilt turbo's worth looking into? I was hoping to get everything done for $2k (with the help of Dave Nichols in MA) but I'm sure labor alone could bring me near that mark. HELP, weather's getting decent and I wanna drive...
